Overall Objective

The program's overall objective is to provide consistent, effective volunteer governance leadership education for individuals within nursing organizations.

Content and learning experiences will assist volunteer leaders on their journey of development and refinement of the knowledge and skills necessary to govern and lead their organizations effectively.

Opportunities to build strong networking relationships among leaders of national and international nursing organizations will also be provided.

Nursing Contact Hours

This continuing nursing education activity will be submitted to the Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, to award contact hours.


Conference Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations must be made in writing directly to the Nursing Organizations Alliance. If received by July 29, 2022, The Nursing Organizations Alliance will apply a $50 administrative fee and refund the remainder of the registration fee. After July 29, 2022, no refund will be given. Replacements are always welcome and can be arranged through NOA Headquarters.


CAE Credits

As a Certified Association Executive (CAE) Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, NALA may be applied for credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with ASAE or the CAE Program. Applicants may use any program that meets eligibility requirements in the specific timeframe towards the exam application or renewal. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.
