Purpose
The purpose of the 2012 Fall Summit is to provide a forum for identification, education, and collaboration building on issues of common interest to advance the nursing profession. The Fall Summit is designed for the chief elected officers and chief staff officers of The Alliance member organizations.


Nursing Contact Hours
The 2011 Fall Summit was awas approved for six (6) contact hours by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurse Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Tennessee Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The Alliance will seek approval for contact hours for the 2012 Fall Summit.

General Information
The Fall Summit is held annually, Thursday - Saturday, the weekend prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. The attire for the Fall Summit is business casual. Please note that meeting rooms may be cold so layering is recommended. Also, some events will be held at venues other than the hotel which will require you to walk outside.


Airport / Transportation
The closest airport is the Nashville International Airport located approximately 8 miles from the hotel. A one-way cab ride to the hotel is approximately $24.00.
